Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 29, 2026

Layerseven TV ("Layerseven TV," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit layerseven.tv, sign up for a 24-Hour Free Trial, purchase a subscription, or use the Catchon TV application, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three broad categories:

  • Information you provide directly. When you create an account, request a free trial, purchase a subscription, or contact support, you may provide your name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, billing address, and the contents of any messages you send us.
  • Payment information. Card numbers, expiration dates, and CVV codes are submitted directly to our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our servers. We retain only a token, the last four digits of the card, and the transaction metadata necessary to fulfill the purchase and respond to disputes.
  • Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, approximate geographic region, device type, operating system, browser type and version, referring URL, pages or screens viewed, the channels or titles you stream, session timestamps, and basic performance diagnostics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create and authenticate your account and deliver the Service you requested;
  • To process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds, chargebacks, and renewals;
  • To provide customer support and respond to questions sent to help@catchontv1.email;
  • To monitor service health, debug streaming issues, and improve the reliability and quality of the platform;
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, account sharing, and other abuse;
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing notices) and, where you have opted in, occasional product announcements;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Under GDPR, our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (delivering the Service you purchased), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), consent (optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting).

3. Cookies & Tracking

Layerseven TV uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure forms against abuse, and measure aggregate site usage. We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for sign-in, checkout, and security (these cannot be disabled);
  • Functional cookies — remember preferences such as language and player settings;
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages and features are most useful so we can improve them.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing a purchase. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

4. Third Parties

We share personal information only with vendors that help us run the Service, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function. The current list of subprocessors includes:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and fraud screening. Stripe receives card data, billing address, IP address, and amount of the transaction.
  • Supabase, Inc. — database and authentication infrastructure. Supabase stores your account record, hashed credentials, and subscription metadata.
  • Vercel, Inc. — website and application hosting, edge delivery, and request logging.

Each of these providers is bound by a data processing agreement and is contractually required to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not share it with third-party advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle billing disputes, comply with tax obligations, and respond to legal requests. Inactive accounts and associated personal data are typically deleted or anonymized within 24 months of the last subscription expiration. Transaction records may be retained longer where required by accounting and tax law (typically up to seven years).

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Deletion / "right to be forgotten" — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Restriction — limit how we process your information while a dispute is investigated;
  • Portability — receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing;
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time;
  • Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (CCPA/CPRA) — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, but California residents may submit a request to confirm this;
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

To exercise any of these rights, email help@catchontv1.email from the address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and respond within thirty (30) days, or forty-five (45) days for CCPA requests, with extensions only where permitted by law. EU and UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

7. Children's Privacy

Layerseven TV is intended for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the threshold). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at help@catchontv1.email and we will promptly delete the information.

8. International Transfers

Layerseven TV operates globally, and the vendors we use (Stripe, Supabase, Vercel) primarily store and process data in the United States. When personal information is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States or another country that has not received an adequacy decision, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary technical and organizational measures.

9. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive databases, role-based access controls, hashed credentials, regular security reviews of our vendors, and bot-protection on public-facing forms. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that materially affects your data, we will notify affected users and the relevant supervisory authorities as required by law.

10. Contact Us

For privacy-related questions, requests to exercise your rights, or any other concerns about how we handle your data, please contact our privacy team at help@catchontv1.email. We aim to respond within 24 hours and to fully resolve verified requests within the timeframes required by GDPR and CCPA.
