Refund Policy

Layerseven TV wants every subscriber to be confident in their purchase. This Refund Policy explains the 7-day money-back window we offer on new subscriptions, what is eligible, what is not, and exactly how to request a refund. By purchasing a Layerseven TV plan, you agree to the terms below. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. The 7-Day Money-Back Window

Layerseven TV offers a 7-day money-back window from the original date of purchase on first-time subscriptions. If, within seven (7) calendar days of your initial payment, you experience a qualifying issue that we are unable to resolve, you may request a full refund of that purchase. The window begins at the time the payment is captured by our processor and closes 168 hours later, regardless of how often you have used the Service during that period.

Before purchasing, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our 24-Hour Free Trial. The free trial gives you full access to channels, on-demand titles, and the Catchon TV application so you can confirm that the Service works on your network and devices before committing to a paid plan.

2. What Is Eligible for a Refund

Refund requests submitted within the 7-day window will be approved when one or more of the following conditions apply:

  • Technical issues we cannot resolve. If you experience persistent buffering, channel unavailability, login problems, or app crashes that our support team is unable to fix after reasonable troubleshooting, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Billing errors. Duplicate charges, incorrect plan amounts, or charges processed after a confirmed cancellation will be refunded in full once verified.
  • Service activation failure. If your subscription was paid for but we were unable to deliver working credentials within 24 hours of payment, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Extended outage. A continuous service outage of more than 72 hours that affects your account during the 7-day window qualifies for either a pro-rated credit or a full refund at your choice.

3. What Is Not Eligible

The following situations fall outside the 7-day refund window:

  • Change of mind after activation. Once your subscription is active and the technical issues above do not apply, the purchase is treated as fulfilled. The 24-Hour Free Trial exists specifically so you can evaluate the Service risk-free before paying.
  • Account sharing or abuse. Refunds are not available where the account has been used in violation of our Terms — including credential sharing outside a single household, reselling access, or attempting to circumvent simultaneous-connection limits.
  • Issues caused by your equipment or network. Slow internet connections, ISP throttling, outdated hardware, or device incompatibilities reported and discussed during free-trial troubleshooting are not grounds for a paid-plan refund.
  • Expired window. Requests submitted more than seven (7) calendar days after the original purchase date are outside the policy and will be declined.
  • Renewals and additional terms. The 7-day window applies only to the first paid subscription on an account. Subsequent renewals and new term purchases are final once processed.
  • Promotional or discounted plans may be excluded where the promotion explicitly states "no refunds" at the time of purchase.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 7-day window, send an email to help@catchontv1.email with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the following:

  • Your full name and the email address used to purchase the subscription;
  • Your order number or Stripe transaction ID (found in your purchase receipt);
  • The plan you purchased and the date of purchase;
  • A clear description of the reason for the refund (technical issue, billing error, etc.) and any troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

Our support team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and, where appropriate, attempt one round of troubleshooting before approving the refund. If we determine the issue cannot be resolved or that a billing error occurred, the refund will be approved.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Once we issue the refund through Stripe, the time it appears on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 3–5 additional business days for cards and up to 10 business days for some international banks. We will send a confirmation email when the refund is initiated.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact help@catchontv1.email before disputing a charge with your bank. Most issues — failed activations, duplicate charges, or troubleshooting — can be fully resolved by our support team within 24–48 hours. Filing a chargeback without giving us the opportunity to resolve the issue may result in immediate suspension of the account and may delay any refund you would otherwise be entitled to.
